Maxine Davis Billingsley 78 of Glasgow died Saturday June 14, 2008 at the Barren County Health Care Facility. She was born in College Grove, TN the daughter of the late Jimmy and Henry Lee Nance Davis. Mrs. Billingsley was an employee of Handmacher for 38 years and was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Paul Billingsley; 2 daughters Karen Emberton (Jim) of Versailles, KY and Kathy Barrick (Jimmy) of Glasgow; 3 sons Jerry Billingsley (Angie) of Kentucky, Kelly Billingsley (Loria) of Glasgow and Kerry Billingsley (Melissa) of Glasgow; 10 grandchildren Julie Emberton Wilsher, Amy Emberton, Jake Barrick, Kara Barrick Wilson, Joshua Billingsley, Amber Billingsley, Cody Billingsley, Kaylee Billingsley, Megan Rae Billingsley and Brendan Luke Billingsley and 3 great-grandchildren Corey and Maicey Wilsher and Colten James Wilson. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers, Buford, Claude, James and Ernest Davis and 2 sisters Emma Gassaway and Eula Mae Oakes. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday June 18, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may be made to a memorial fund at U.S. Bank in memory of Maxine Billingsley. These funds will be used for furnishings at Barren County Health Care in her memory.
