Effie Hatfield 84 of Glasgow died Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Indianapolis, IN she was the daughter of the late James A. Garfield Hatfield & Artie Misha Browning Hatfield. She is survived by a sister Agnes Hatfield of Glasgow; 2 brothers Chester & Bill Hatfield of Glasgow; 4 nephews Arthur Hatfield & wife Beverly, Kenny Hatfield & wife Julie, Billy Hatfield & wife Patty and William Herbert Hatfield & wife Rhonda all of Glasgow; 3 nieces Mildred Davidson & husband Larry of Glasgow, Vickie Morgan & husband Richard of Glasgow and Elaine Shockley & husband Graylon of Edmonton; a sister-in-law Ada Hatfield of Glasgow and several great nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she is perceded in death by 4 brothers Herbert, James Virgil, Sammie Hatfield & Jesse Hatfield and a sister Louise Hatfield. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday, October 1, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Hatfield Family Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
