Eunice Collins

Eunice Collins 71 of Glasgow, died Sunday March 18, 2007 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Mrs. Collins was born in Hiseville, KY the daughter of the late Roy Edward and Gladys Short Williams. She was retired from the Glasgow Independent School System where she was a cook at the E. B. Terry Elementary School. Mrs. Collins was a member of the Hopewell Baptist Church where she served as an Usher. She had been the nursery attendant at the First Presbyterian Church in Glasgow and was a friend and mentor to area young people. She is survived by her husband William; a son William 'Billy' Buford and wife Melita of Memphis, TN; a grandson B.J. Buford of Memphis, TN; 6 step grandchildren and 5 step great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday March 22, 2007 at the Hopewell Baptist Church with burial in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4pm until 8pm and on Thursday she will lie in state at the Hopewell Baptist Church from 10am until time for services.
