Gary Douglas Powell

Gary Douglas Powell, 71, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Monday, June 3, 2024, at the Medical Center at Bowling Green surrounded by his loved ones. He was born August 17, 1952, in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Jewell Botts Powell and late Dorene (Kingrey) Powell. Gary retired from R.R. Donnelley, and then worked in housekeeping at TJ Samson Community Hospital for several years. Gary was a member of Dover Baptist Church in Haywood, Kentucky.

Gary is survived by his two sons, Chris Powell (Jennifer) and Gary Powell (Liz); one grandchild, Emma Grace Powell; one sister, Barbara Harper; four stepchildren, Kelly Logsdon, Kristi Logsdon, Michael Lowe, Andrew Lowe; several step grandchildren; two nieces, Lori Knight (Eddie) and Cheri Kosbiel (Thomas); one nephew, Tony Bragg (Tiffany).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Deborah (Brooks) Powell and his brother, Jerry David Powell.

The funeral service for Mr. Powell will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, June 8th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery.
