Margaret Jordan

Margaret Sara Houchens Jordan, age 88, went to be with Jesus and her earthly family on Sunday, December 17, 2023. She was a strong Christian lady who told people that Jesus was her best friend. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Trudy Houchens; brothers, Euell, Stanley, Wilton, and Jim Tom; sisters, Jewell Reeves, Ruby Jones, Opal Morris, Beulah Hindman, and Vonnie Houchens; her beloved husband, Donald; her precious children, Don and Sara; her grandson, Courtney Austin.

She was a member of Dover Missionary Baptist Church and had strong ties to Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where she was saved as a young girl.

She is survived by her loving sister, Clarice Sartin (Kenneth); her caregiving niece, Vickie Hindman; special nephew, Marty Martin; great nephews, Alex and Trey Martin; great-great nephews, Enzo and Rip Martin; other nieces and nephews, Wanda, Junior, James, Dwight, and Judy; special grandson, Terryle Jordan; daughter-in-law, Pam Jordan; special friend, William Goodman.

A Homecoming service will be held Thursday, December 21st, at 2:00 PM at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church with burial in the Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Thursday, at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
