Martha Wagner

Martha Wagner, 95, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away February 9th, 2024 at TJ Samson Community Hospital. She was born December 9th, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Thomas E. Fields and the late Evelyn (Howton) Fields. Martha was a devoted wife and mother and spent many years as an Optometric Assistant to her husband Dr. Max Wagner. Martha was a member of the Columbia Avenue Church of Christ (Avenue Church). She dearly loved her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Dr. Ronald T. Wagner (Eva); one daughter, Karen Gail Himelrick (James Edward); five grandchildren, Jeffery T. Wagner ( Reneé), Gregory B. Wagner (Bonnie), Kari Cherie Smith (Jason), James Tadd Himelrick (Candice), and Briana Gail Bishop (Matt); twelve great grandchildren, Éowyn Wagner, Redding Wagner, Hayden Smith, Elly Kate Smith, Kynley Himelrick, Sadie Himelrick, Rynn Himelrick, Luke Himelrick, Levi Himelrick, Parker Bishop, Claria Gail Bishop, and Eliza Bishop. She is also survived by many friends and caregivers that loved her dearly.

In addition to her parents, Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Max Wagner.

Services for Ms. Wagner will be at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 13th, 2024 at A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, February 12th, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
