Mattie Gillenwater

Mattie Mansfield Gillenwater 92 of Glasgow, KY died Thursday January 27, 2005 at the home of her niece in Louisville. She was born in Barren County, Kentucky the daughter of the late Charles G. and Lou Chambers Mansfield. Her husband was the late Guy Gillenwater. Mrs. Gillenwater was a member of the South Green St. Church of Christ and was retired housekeeper for A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home where she was employed for 40 years. She is survived by one sister Pearl Collins of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews including Flora Smotherman of Louisville with whom she lived. Five brothers Lorenzo, O.C., Gus, Joe and Lawrence and four sisters Nettie, Nannie, Vennie and Nora preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday February 2, 2005 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Barlow Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
