Michael Haines

Michael Weston Haines, 37, died May 20, 2016 in Nashville, TN. He was born in Glasgow, the son of Mark and Betty Haines. Anyone who knew Michael, knew that he was an avid UK fan, and pretty much a fan of any sports. He had a big heart and was always so kind and friendly and would do anything to help a friend any time they needed him. He adored his 3-year-old son Weston Bratcher Haines, and often referred to him as "his best buddy in the whole world." His family meant the world to him, and he especially loved his Mama with all his heart. His favorite book to read was Jesus Calling and he would frequently call or text his family with excitement to tell them about the passage that day. Michael had an infectious smile and laughter that would light up a room. He is survived by his parents, Mark and Betty Haines, his son, Weston Bratcher Haines, Weston's mother, Jennifer Martin Haines, his Grandmother, Mary Haines, his sisters Lauren Clark (Dustin), and Blake Brandon (John), many nieces and nephews that all adored their Uncle Michael, and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. He has gone home to the Lord to be with his grandparents and his best friend named Danny Bratcher. We will always remember our Michael and we will miss his hugs, laughter, smiles, and daily conversations. Funeral Services will be held at Calvary Baptist Church in Glasgow on May 24, 2016 at 4:00 pm, with visitation between 1:00-4:00 pm.
