Roy L. Harrison 74 of Austin, KY died Sunday morning December 4, 2005 at his home. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Bennie K. and Mae Lee Bewley Harrison. Mr. Harrison was the owner and operator of Austin Farm Supply and he was a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church at Austin. He was a charter member and member of the original board of directors of the Austin Tracy Volunteer Fire Dept., a member of the Austin Masonic Lodge and a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He was preceded in dea th by his wife Mary Dean Hogue Harrison and two brothers Ray and Ruel Harrison. He is survived by two sons Roy Glendell Harrison and wife Sandy of Austin and David Lee Harrison and wife Patty of Austin; four grandchildren Jennifer (Zach) Fisher, Nathan Harrison, Natalie Harrison and Katie Harrison and one great grandchild. He is also survived by a special friend Virginia Houchens of Austin and brothers and sisters in law. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday December 7, 2005 at the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church with burial in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5pm Monday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Masonic Rites will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the T. J. Samson Hospice Program, 1301 N. Race St., Glasgow, KY 42141.
