Thomas D. Whitlow 51 of Glasgow died Saturday November 15, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born in Glasgow the son of Doug and Helen Thomas Whitlow of Glasgow who survive. Mr. Whitlow was a truck driver for Tyson Foods and was very involved with the Trucker Buddy Program and Big Brothers Big Sisters in Barren County. He was a graduate of Kentucky Weslyan College and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Sharon Jolly Whitlow; a son Brian Whitlow (Ellen) of Warren, Connecticut; a step son Todd Bewley (Jerri) of Scottsville; a step daughter Micki Lindsey (Dewayne) of Hardyville; his parents Doug and Helen Whitlow of Glasgow; a sister Diane Melton (Jimmy) of Tulsa, OK; 5 step granddaughters Kodi, Brittni, Erica and Holly Bewley and Mattye Lindsey and his 'Little Brother' of ten years, Ben Dean. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Wednesday November 19, 2008 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 1:00pm on Tuesday. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to either the American Heart Assn. or Big Brothers Big Sisters of Barren County.
