Vera Taylor

Vera Hazel Taylor 93 of Glasgow died Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Barren County Health Care. She was born in Barren County, the daughter of the late Warner and Lena Brooks Mansfield. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was devoted to her family. She is survived by 1 son Michael Taylor and wife Sharon of Glasgow; 1 daughter Margaret Gooden and husband Dennie of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Leigh Ann (Frankie) Huddleston and Robin (Jason) Owen both of Glasgow, Eric Taylor of Huntsville, AL, Chris (Emma) Taylor of Cave City and Amy (Troy) Holden of Westmoreland, TN; 8 great-grandchildren Matt Grizzle, Alyssa Beard, Taylor Owen, Josh Owen, Alex Taylor, T.C. Huddleston, Spencer Huddleston and Josh Holden; 1 brother-in-law Tommy Samson of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Owens Taylor and 1 sister Wilma Mansfield Samson. Funeral services will be 1pm Wednesday, April 10th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 3:30 pm Tuesday.
