Ada Basil

Ada Winters Basil 91 of Horse Cave and formerly of Glasgow, died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at her home. Born in Henry County, KY she was the daughter of the late James and Cassie Ellen Chism Winters. She was also preceded in death by her husband Troy Basil, a son Tommy Basil and a grandson Billy Allen Basil. She is survived by her children, Nathan Basil and wife Linda, Ellen Mae Harper and husband Kenneth, Mary Basil and Beverly Basil (Tommy's wife); a brother Alva Winters (Garnetta) of Mt. Sterling, KY; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday, December 2nd at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2pm Monday. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to assist the family with final expenses.
