Alan Thomas

Alan Wayne Thomas 51 of Glasgow died Wednesday June 27, 2007 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Daniel Boone Thomas and Mary Frances Chapman Thomas. He was also preceded in death by an infant sister Sharon Kay Thomas. Mr. Thomas was employed at Goodman Automotive for the past 34 years and he was a member of the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Joann; 3 daughters Casey Thomas of Glasgow, Kristy Spears and husband Joel of Texas and Jamie Ballard and husband Michael of Glasgow; 1 son Jason Thomas of Nashville, TN; 3 grandchildren Caleb Lee Spears and Aaron Thomas Spears both of Texas and Madison Dale Ballard of Glasgow; 1 brother Danny Thomas and wife Connie of Glasgow; 1 uncle Junior Chapman and wife Sue of Edmonton; 2 aunts Lois Chapman and Bessie Chapman both of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday June 30, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Friday at the funeral home.
