Alene Clements

Alene Clements, 91, of Shrewsbury, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, March 19th at her home. She was born on September 11th, 1922 in Rabbit Flat, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Will and Luvena (Raymer) Albro. She was a homemaker who loved to piece quilts, garden, work puzzles and spend time with her family. She is survived by her seven children, Agnes Day (Delmer), Rosie Whobrey (Harold), David Clements (Liz) and Phillip Clements (Ora) all of Shrewsbury, Alta Woosley (K.O.) of Falls Of Rough, Wanda Beatty (Mike) of Ready and Judy Clark (Charlie) of Navarre, Florida. She is also survived by one sister, Irene Albro of Shrewsbury; one daughter-in-law, Linda Clements (Sherman) of Millwood and one daughter-in-law, Sue Clements (Don) of Henderson, Nevada. She is survived by 19 grandkids, 44 great-grandkids and 6 great-great grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Ray Clements; two sons, Sherman Clements and Don Clements; three sisters and one brother. Funeral services will be Sunday, March 23rd at 2:00 p.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Chester Shartzer will be officiating. Burial will be in the Shrewsbury Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
