Alene Cook

Alene Baker Cook 57 of Park City, KY died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at her residence. Born in Letcher County, KY she was the daughter of the late Ballard Baker and Cora Hampton Baker of Thornton, KY who survives. Mrs. Cook was of the Christian faith. In addition to her mother she is survived by her husband Douglas W. Cook of Park City; a son Dwayne Cook (Jennifer) of Horse Cave, KY; 4 grandchildren Crance Douglas Cook, Corie Beth McCluskey, Alanis Alene Cook and William Trevor Cook; 3 sisters Alice Lucas, Mary Ann Baker and Flo Ellen Baker all of Thornton, KY; 4 brothers Phillip Gerald Baker of Colson, KY, Gregory Ballard Baker, Larry Lane Baker and Billy Conn Baker all of Thornton, KY; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a daughter Alicia Corie Cook and a brother Orville Gene Baker. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday, January 29, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Walnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be after 11:00am Friday at the funeral home.
