Alice Marie Hamill

Alice Marie (Smith) Hamill, 71, of Glasgow, Kentucky went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 9, 2022. She ran a good race; her race is done, and God simply decided it was time for her to come home. There shall be no more suffering or loneliness but joy and jubilee. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Wick and Ruth Stevens Smith, her son Danny William Fish, two sisters: Mary Jane Smith and Pauline Davis and one nephew, Carl "Billy" Smith. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Jessie Andrew Hamill, her children: Danny Ray Fish and Rebecca Fish-Meraz (Mauricio); her grandchildren, Quiana Fish, Katlan Thomerson (Andrew), Abriana Page (Alex), AshLand Page (Joseph), Danny Fish, Jr. and Simen Willie Meraz- Fish; her great grandchildren, Jameson and Kason Thomerson and Ahana Choate; and her siblings, William Smith (Peggy), Betty Jean, Hazel Witcher (Barry), Wick Smith and Carla Crain and a blessing of many other family members and friends. Alice was of Baptist faith, a member of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church and a homemaker. She devoted her time to loving her grandchildren, she showered them with love and attended all of their events and celebrated in their life accomplishments. Her final resting place (Bethlehem Cemetery) will be alongside her first born, her son, Danny William Fish whom she lost at birth. She spent a lifetime dreaming of the day that she could hold him, and that day has finally come. We mourn our loss but rejoice that our wife, mother, nanny, and sister can now find eternal peace. A Private Family only funeral service will be Wednesday, January 12th at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. A.F.
