Allen Martin

Allen Martin 66 of Glasgow, KY died Tuesday May 25, 2004 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital after a lengthy illness. He was born December 14, 1937 in Lucas, KY the son of the late Clarence E. and Mae Turner Martin. Mr. Martin was a veteran of the Viet Nam War serving three years in the U. S. Army and was retired from Bowling Green Utilities and from farming. He is survived by four sisters: Etta Calvert and husband Kenneth with whom he lived, Margie Ward, Ann Norman and Mary D. Carter all of Glasgow; four brothers: Orby, Richard and Billy Joe Martin all of Glasgow and Herbert Martin of Seattle, Washington. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addtition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Lee, Wilson, Paul and David Martin and one sister Nadine Morgan. Funeral services will be 11:00am Friday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be after 4:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
