Allen Shaw

Allen Palmore Shaw 67 of Glasgow died Friday, November 21, 2014 at his home. Born in Glasgow he was the son of the late Ewing Palmore and Nina Jewell Basil Shaw. Mr. Shaw was self-employed carpenter and member of the Coral Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Linda Shugart Shaw; 2 daughters Tina Staples husband Tommy, Angie Johnson (Matt Johnson) all of Glasgow; 4 grandchildren Quentin, Tyler and Kalei Staples, Skylar Johnson all of Glasgow; special great niece Lexie Shugart of Glasgow; 5 brothers Charles Shaw of Glasgow, Joe Shaw of Edmonton, Ted Shaw Morgantown, Russell Shaw of Cave City, Dennis Shaw of Edmonton; 9 sisters Patricia Landers of Glasgow, Peggy Brown of Brownsville, Mary Elmore of Louisville, Faye Wood of Glasgow, Rita Frazier of Cave City, Connie Poindexter of Glasgow, Linda Holman of Glasgow, Sandy Duncan of Edmonton and Monica Wilson of Bowling Green; 1 brother-in-law Danny Shugart of Glasgow; several nieces nephews, aunts and uncles. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, November 24, 2014 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Neal's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
