Alma Mesker, 81, of Park City, passed away Saturday, February 26, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Monroe County on March 24, 1940, to the late William Pitcock and Nannie Lee Turner Pitcock. Alma was a homemaker and had worked at KY Pants for several years until it closed. She loved being outdoors and one of her favorite things, was fishing. She was very good at making quilts and sewing. The last few years she sewed and made several pillows for family and friends. Alma was a member of the Poplar Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her sons, Donnie Mesker (Kristen), and Earl Thomas Mesker both of Park City; brother, William Buril Pitcock of Temple Hill; grandchildren, Brandon Mesker (Valerie), Andrew Clayton Riley Mesker (Emily), Clinton Charles Mesker, Jacob James Mesker, and Jody Lane Dean (Ben); several great grandchildren and one great great grandchild also survive. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Eunice Mesker, and her 2nd husband Pelly Burgett; grandson, Christopher "Chris" Lee Mesker; sisters, Myrtle London, Nina Bradley, and Clarice Edwards. Funeral service will be 2:00pm Wednesday, March 2nd at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 5:00pm until 8:00pm and on Wednesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home. A.F.
