Alta Louise McFarland Eubank 86 of Glasgow died Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren County on July 27, 1929 she was the daughter of the late O. H. & Lela Nichols McFarland and wife of the late Vester White Eubank, Jr… Mrs. Eubank was a former employee of J. J. Newberry Department Store and Mallory's. Survivors include 2 sons William Michael Eubank & wife Pat of Birmingham, AL and Jerry Eubank & wife Mary of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Catherine Eubank of Gallatin, TN, Steve Eubank of Birmingham, AL, Miranda Deaton (Zach) of Crestview, KY, Ginger Ervin (Miles) of Columbia, SC and Natalie Eubank of Lexington, KY; 2 great grandchildren Blake Deaton and Allie Ervin; 2 sisters Alice Little (Milton) of Hamilton, OH and Ruth Eubank of Glasgow; a brother William L. 'Bill' McFarland of Wilmore, KY; a sister-in-law Ruth Faye Eubank Yates (Jim) of Nashville, TN and several nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 4 sisters Helen Bryant, Frances Hayden, Irene Jeffries and Clarine McFarland and 4 brothers Lewis, Harding, Bud and Peyton McFarland. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, November 16, 2015 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 10:00am Monday until time for the service at the funeral home.
