Alyene Jessie

Alyene Bragg Jessie 86 of Glasgow, died Friday, April 28, 2017 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren County, she was the daughter of the late Virgil "Jack" and Irene Shirley Bragg. Alyene was an employee of T. J. Samson Community Hospital for many years and was a member of Price's Creek Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie D. Jessie, 4 brothers Ernest, Carter, Russell and Coy Bragg, a sister Reedie Bragg and a daughter-in-law Joy Jessie. She is survived by 4 sons, Danny Jessie and wife Jo, David Jessie and wife Sharon, Jerry Jessie and wife Jackie, and Terry Jessie all of Glasgow; 1 brother Stanley Bragg and wife Priscilla of Horse Cave; a sister-in-law Charlene Bragg of Glasgow; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, May 2nd at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM Monday.
