Alyne Smith

Alyne Ritter Smith 73 of Glasgow, KY died Saturday June 26, 2004 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Corbin and Lillie Peers Ritter and wife of the late Herbert Smith. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker and was a member of the Caney Fork Baptist Church at Etoile. She is survived by 2 daughters Martha Dickson and husband Greg of Cave City and Sherry Gillock and husband Glen of Glasgow; 1 son J. C. Smith of Glasgow; 2 brothers Willie Dee Ritter and Leroy Ritter both of Glasgow; 4 sisters Annis Parrish of Beaumont, Joyce Shaw of Glasgow, Vonda Oliver of Glasgow and Glenda Gassaway of Smithville, TN; 3 grandchildren Tiffany Smith of Glasgow, Sheena Dickson of Cave City and Tyler Gillock of Glasgow; 1 great grandson Jonathan Morris; a brother in law Raymond Smith of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, a son Ruel L. Smith, a daughter Anna Marie Smith and 3 sisters Ruth England, Velma Hurt and Betty New preceded her in death. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Monday June 28, 2004 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Caney Fork Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2pm Sunday at A. F. Crow & Son.
