Amanda Lyons

Amanda Kay Lyons, age 30, of Elizabethtown KY, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 in Elizabethtown, as a result of an automobile accident. She was born on October 15, 1981, in Louisville, KY, the daughter of Glenn Dewayne and Mary Lou Alvey Phelps. She was a shipping clerk at Zappos. She is survived by her son and his father, Gaige Lyons and Michael Lyons of Elizabethtown, her mother, Mary Lou Phelps of Elizabethtown, her sister, Tiffany Schroeder (Jacob) of Elizabethtown, and her grandmother, Glenda Alvey of Elizabethtown. She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn Dewayne Phelps and her grandfathers, Albert Alvey and Glendon Phelps. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2012 at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville. Burial will be in the Chapel Union Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt Funeral Home in Caneyville from 12:00 noon to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until time of service.
