Ann Smith

Ann Howard Smith 76 of Glasgow died Monday December 3, 2007 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born July 10, 1931 in Monroe County the daughter of the late Jack and Ruth Tyree Howard. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker, a seamstress and more recently had been the hostess at Barren River State Park and Rough River State Park Resorts. She attended the Park City United Methodist Church. She is survived by her beloved husband the Rev. Burk M. Smith; two brothers R.J. Howard (Sue) of Glasgow and Tommy Howard of Tompkinsville; two sisters Marjorie McWherter of Tompkinsville and Charlotte Haley of Glasgow; a brother-in-law Russell Smith of Bowling Green and a sister-in-law Jean Holland (Frank) of Pensacola, FL and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Thursday December 6, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm on Wednesday.
