Anna Duke

Anna Duke, 74, of Caneyville, passed away Sunday, May 4th, 2014 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born on April 17th, 1940 in Bullitt County, the daughter of the late Curtis and Dollie (McClain) Thompson. Anna was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her, husband, Herbert Duke; 4 sons, David Duke (Rosemarie), Ricky Duke (Linda), Mark Duke (Betty) and Herbert Duke Jr (Rebecca); 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and several brothers and sisters. Other than her parents, she is preceded in death by several brothers.Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 7th at 2:00 p.m. at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro Scott Harris will be officiating. Burial will be in the Brown Cemetery.Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville Wednesday after 11:00 a.m. until time of service.
