Anna Pearl Groce 64 of Glasgow died Thursday, January 11, 2007 at her residence. Born in Barren Co. She was the daughter of the late Ed & Stella Witcher. Mrs. Groce was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church and a avid Cook and Gardner. She also was a former employee of many of the local factory's including Mallory's, Handmachers and Carhartt. Survivors include her children Wayne Groce (Wilma) of Park City, Jeanette Johnson (Kenny) of Knob Lick, Thomas Groce (Peggy) of Glasgow, Anna E. Groce of Cave City; her grandchildren Suzie Bragg (Leslie) of Glasgow Carl Groce (Bonnie) of Frankfort, KY, Nickie Garmon (Steve) of Cave City, Jonetta Merritt (B J) of Glasgow, Candy Groce of Austin, Summer and J. T. Groce of Glasgow; great grandchildren Alexis Bragg of Glasgow and Lilly Groce of Frankfort; special family friends Kim Wood of Cave City and Tom Goeson of Munfordville; Three sisters Louise Houchens of cave City, Rebecca Baine of Bonnieville, Jewell Lindsey of Glasgow and one brother Edgar Witcher of Smiths Grove. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Perry Preston Groce, a son John Troy Groce and a granddaughter Amanda Elaine Groce. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Sunday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 3pm Saturday at the funeral home. Alternate expressions of sympathy can take the form of memorial contributions to the T. J. Samson Hospice Program at T. J. Samson Community Hospital.
