Anna Ruth Hodges

Anna Ruth Hodges, 80, of Glasgow, died Sunday May 8, 2016 at the Diversicare of Glasgow. She was born in Monroe County the daughter of the late Herbert Bowman and Vera (Norman) Bowman. She was a Homemaker and member of the Goodson Chapel United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband Murbel H. Hodges of Glasgow; 1 son Jimmy Hodges (Belinda) of Glasgow; 2 daughters Cathy Smith (Lonnie) and Karen Wilson both of Glasgow; 4 grandchildren Jamie Rich (Mark), Jeremy Smith and Aaron Smith all of Glasgow and Chris Smith of Temple Hill; 8 great grandchildren Caleb Rich, Jamison Rich, Chandler Smith, Trinity Smith, Jackson Smith, Brianna Smith, Aiden Smith and Austin Smith all of Glasgow; several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by 5 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Wednesday May 11, 2016 at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Whites Cemetery in Monroe County. Visitation will be after 5:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
