Annie Pitcock Birge 90 of Glasgow died Wednesday December 1, 2010 at the Barren County Health Care Facility in Glasgow. She was born in Monroe County the daughter of the late Thomas C. and Mollie Elizabeth Lerman Pitcock. She was the wife of the late Ora Birge and was a homemaker. Mrs. Birge was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church near Beckton. Survivors include 1 son William Gayles Birge (Mary Lou) of Glasgow; 3 daughters Louise Proffitt (Morris) of Glasgow, Lena Crabtree (Billy) of Glasgow and Wanda McGuire (Carl) of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Charles Proffitt of Muhlenberg County, Dennis Proffitt, Maretta Brown, Jeff McGuire and Denise Birge all of Glasgow and Teresa Perkins of Franklin, KY; 4 step grandchildren Howard Jessie, Jeanette Horton, Ricky Sherfey and Rodney Sherfey all of Glasgow; 10 great grandchildren, 7 step great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two children Ora Birge, Jr. and Wilma Jessie. Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, December 4, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the White Cemetery at Sulphur Lick. Visitation will begin at 11:00am Friday at the funeral home.
