Annie Shelton

Annie Lee Shelton 87 of Bowling Green died Sunday December 11, 2005 at the Christian Health Care in Bowling Green. She had been a former resident of Bowling Green Retirement Village. She was born in Barren County, KY the daughter of the late Lee and Annie Smith Houchens and her husband was the late Harold Wayne Shelton. Mrs. Shelton was the former cafeteria manager at the Oakland Elementary School in Warren County and she was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She is survived by a son Jerry Shelton and wife Kay of Bowling Green; a daughter Judy Shelton and her husband Paul Thomas of Athens, GA; two grandchildren Timothy Shelton of Bowling Green and Kristie (Rob) Wathen of Louisville; one brother J. T. Houchens and wife Wanda of Glasgow; one sister Louise Devasher of Glasgow; a sister in law Evelyn Houchens of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Ewell and Ernest Houchens and a sister Margaret Houchens. Funeral services will be 11:00am Wednesday December 14th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4pm until 8pm and on Wednesday from 8am until time for services.
