Arah Hardin

Arah Dane Bartley Hardin 87 of Glasgow died Friday, October 27, 2006 at the NHC Healthcare Facility in Glasgow. Born in Monroe Co. she was the daughter of the late James & Pearl Petett Bartley and wife of the late Roy Johnson Hardin. Mrs. Hardin was the former owner and operator of Hardins Grocery and a member of the South Green St. Church of Christ. Survivors include a son J. B. Hardin (Shirley) of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren Tammy Stinson of Glasgow, Jackie Wilson (Curtis) of Horse Cave, KY and Joe Hardin (Andrea) of Glasgow; 13 great grandchildren; a sister Inell Tooley of Tompkinsville and a brother Travis Bartley (Frances) of Louisville, KY. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a grandson James Johnson, a sister Vera Philpot and 8 brothers Oather, Oral, Osmend, Carl, Elner, Esmend, Herbert and Otis Bartley. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Sunday, October 29, 2006 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 2:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
