Arlene Lapham

Arlene G. Lapham 79, died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at her home in Glasgow. Mrs. Lapham was formerly of Lincoln Park, New Jersey and had been a Glasgow resident since 1990. She was born in Potsdam, NY a daughter of the late Royal and Mildred Jenkins Grow. Her husband was the late Charles J. Lapham. She was a retired school teacher and recently had taught the G.E.D. program at the Barren County Detention Center. She attended the Glasgow Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Lapham is survived by 4 sons Peter (Judy) Lapham, Tom Lapham (Janelle) and Jon Lapham all of Glasgow, Ben Lapham (Joy Kaczmarek) of New York; a daughter Sue (Doug) Zaher of New York; a sister Bette (Pete) Burns of Virgina and 4 grandchildren Garrett, Jerry, Andrew and Kaitlyn. A memorial service will be held 2pm Saturday, June 29th, 2013 at the Glasgow Cumberland Presbyterian Church. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Barren County Detention Center, Matt Mutter G.E.D. Program, 201 Samson St., Glasgow, KY 42141. Arrangements are under the direction of the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home.
