Arnold Bedford Cox 89 of Glasgow died Thursday, March 5, 2015 at T. J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Born in Metcalfe County, he was a son of the late Willie Miles Cox and Inez Sympson Cox. Mr. Cox retired after 33years as a mail carrier with the U.S. Postal Service and was a farmer. He served in the U. S. Air Force in World War II. He is survived by his wife of 67 years Audrey Kline Cox; 1 son Allen Cox (Juanita) and 1 daughter Teresa Martin (Tom) both of Bowling Green; a daughter-in-law Peggy Cox of Bowling Green; 7 grandchildren Melanie Austin (John) and Brian Cox (Jennifer) both of Glasgow and Kevin Cox (Cary), Christopher Cox (Jennifer), Susan Harmon (Stephen), Travis Martin and Trevor Martin all of Bowling Green; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers Don Cox (Louise) of Glasgow and Billy Cox (Abby) of Sellersburg, IN; 1 sister Lucille 'Tootsie' Short of Jeffersonville, IN and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Tommy Cox, 2 brothers Wendell and Glen Cox and 2 sisters Frances Cooper and Nelda Thomas. Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday, March 8th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 3pm Saturday.
