Arnold Emmitt

Arnold Gene Emmitt 66 of Smiths Grove, KY died Thursday, April 08, 2010 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital. He was born in Barren County the son of the late Herbert Lee and Martha Bunch Emmitt. He was retired from DESA and was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church. Mr. Emmitt was a Mason and a member of the Hays Lodge #517 and a member of the Greenbrier Wagon Club. Survivors include his wife Patsy Jones Emmitt; a son Craig Emmitt and wife Charlena of Scottsville; granddaughter Alea Scott and husband Chris of Scottsville; a great-granddaughter Hailey Scott; a brother Jimmy Emmitt and wife Shirley of Smiths Grove; a sister Mary Kingrey and husband Jim of Glasgow and his loving pet Miss Penny. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son Shane Emmitt and a brother Rondal Emmitt. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday, April 11, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Shiloh Cemetery at Railton. Visitation will begin at 11:00am Saturday.
