Arnold Flowers

Arnold Terrell Flowers 82 of Glasgow died Saturday, March 1, 2008 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late Terrell G. Flowers and Mary Anderson Flowers. Mr. Flowers was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Glasgow, a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict serving in the U. S. Marine Corps and a retired employee of the United States Postal Service. He is survived by his wife of 60yrs Elizabeth 'Libby' Hurt Flowers of Glasgow, a sister Gladys Flowers of Glasgow and several other friends and relatives. Graveside services will be 11:00am Tuesday, March 4, 2008 at the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Monday at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to the Barre River Animal Welfare Association at P. O. Box 171 Glasgow, KY 42141-0171.
