Arvetta Ruth Chambers 90 of Glasgow died Thursday, May 7, 2015 at her residence. Born in Selmer, TN she was the daughter of the late Carl & Alley Fulton Robertson and wife of the late Samuel Benjamin Chambers, Jr... Mrs. Chambers was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her son Samuel C. 'Sammy' Chambers and his wife Phila of Glasgow; 2 granddaughters Sarah Stonerock (Matt) and Lea Moore (Andy Joe) both of Glasgow; a great granddaughter Emma Kate Moore of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by 3 brothers Phillip, Jabbo and Reno G. Robertson. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday, May 10, 2015 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
