Aubrey Reeves

A. C. Reeves 67 of Weddington, NC formally of Glasgow, KY died Friday, April 30, 2010 at his residence after a battle with cancer. Born in Maysville, KY October 8, 1942 he was the son of the late Lewis and Mable Baker Reeves. Mr. Reeves was a agent with Liberty Mutal Insurance Company for 38 years, he was a avid golf player having played all over the world, currently on the Board of the Charlotte Seniors Golf Association, he was also retired from the Army Reserves having served 20 years and a graduate of Western Kentucky University. Survivors include his wife Barbara Simmons Reeves; 1 daughter Jennifer Reeves Benefield (Bobby) of Harvest, AL. Other survivors include several nieces and nephews who shared great pride in him. Funeral services will be held 11AM Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery with military honors provided by DAV Chapter 20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be on Monday May 3, 2010 5PM until 8PM at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home in Glasgow. Prior visitation will be on Saturday, May 1, 2010 5PM until 8PM at the Heritage Funeral Home in Matthews, NC Alternate expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of Memorial contributions to Crossmore School, P.
