Barbara Coop

Barbara Coop 69 of Fiardale, KY died Friday March 11, 2005 at her home. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Dumas and Rosa Vaughn Short. She was a retired food server with Canteen Corporation at Appliance Park and a member of VFW Post #5710 in Shepherdsville and Church of Christ. She is survived by her son Michael Coop Sr. and wife Sharon; 4 brothers Gene Short, David Short (Kay), Fred Short (Karen, and Kenneth Short; 2 sisters Susie Blanton (Oliver) and Brenda Short; 1 grandchild Michael Coop, Jr.; 1 aunt Dovie Watson and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Coop, two brothers Carlene and Charlie Short and two sisters Lorene Short and Linda Allen. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday March 15th at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Pleasant Home Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00am until time for services.
