Barbara Ganter

Barbara Ann Bobbie Ganter 71 of Glasgow died Sunday January 10, 2010 at Barren County Health Care Facility. She was born in Barren County a daughter of the late Ernest Porter Bush and Mildred Elizabeth Bishop Bush and was the wife of the late George Carr Ganter, Jr. Barbara was a local hairdresser for 35 years and was also the lunchroom manager for Glasgow High School for 12 years. She had been an employee of Awards Inc. and was a member of the Scottie Band Parents where she served as the Uniform Chairperson. She was a member of the Southside Baptist Church. She is survived by a daughter Roxanne Cloyd and her husband Michael of Glasgow; 2 step children George Ganter of Indiana and Kathy Ganter of Washington; a sister Becky Barrick and husband Bobby of Glasgow; a nephew Ricky Jo Barrick (Norie), a niece Kylie Garrett (Daniel) and great nieces and nephews, Jesse, Joshua and Sarah Garrett and Amber Barrick. The funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday January 13, 2010 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am Tuesday.
