Barbara Jean Abston

Barbara Jean Abston 80 of Glasgow died Thursday, March 17, 2016 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Glasgow she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Flossie Wood Thomas and wife of the late Kenneth W. Abston. She was a member of the Coral Hill Baptist Church and former employee of Sorenson's in Glasgow. Survivors include a daughter Wilma Eubank (Joe) of Glasgow; 2 sons Rickie Riddle and Tommy Riddle (Polly) both of Glasgow; 6 grandchildren Charity Hamm, Roger Dale Riddle, Amber Moore, Thomas Joe Riddle, Ashlee Cannon and Joseph Anthony Eubank; 8 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; a brother Arlie Thomas (Virginia) of Glasgow; 2 sisters Ersie Houchens and Margaret Jones (Bill) both of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her first husband Jr. Riddle, infant son Roger Dale Riddle, a sister Audrey Johnson and a brother Arnold Thomas. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Sunday, March 20, 2016 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Saturday at the funeral home.
