Barbara Mitchell

Barbara June Mitchell, 89, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. She was born July 11, 1933 in Bowling Green, Kentucky to the late Browder Clay Sprouse and Mary O'Brien Sprouse. Barbara was a cook at Freedom Lanes in Glasgow and later at Reds in Bowling Green. She loved doing crossword puzzles, spending time with her pets, cooking, and reading her Bible. Barbara was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her children, Elaine Wood (Rick), Boyd Mitchell (Sean Ivers), Janet Mitchell Contreras, Karen Watkins (Randy), Sharon McClellan, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Myron Mitchell, Patrick Mitchell, and seven brothers, Clay, David, Douglas, Paul, Stephen, and Forrest Sprouse, and Patrick Edwards. The family has chosen cremation. A memorial visitation for Mrs. Mitchell will be held Saturday, December 31st from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. A. F.
