Barbara Ruth Houchens

Barbara Ruth Harper Houchens 79 of Glasgow died Thursday, April 16, 2015 at her home. She was born in Barren County the daughter of the late Charlie and Malissa Bowles Harper. Ms. Houchens was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by 2 daughters Martha Gibbons and Joanna Baise of Glasgow; 5 grandchildren Amanda Baise, Christopher Pruitt and Robbie Harrison of Glasgow and Kimberly and Jennifer Subia of California; several great grandchildren; 2 sisters Geneva Thomas (Larry) and Celia Faye Wood (Lewis) of Glasgow and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a daughter Clara Subia and a brother James Virgil Harper. Funeral services will be 2pm Saturday, April 18th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Deweese/Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10am until time for the service.
