Barbara Yates

Barbara Sue Yates, 75, of Horse Cave, Kentucky passed away Friday, March 10, 2023 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. She was born July 5, 1947 in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late James Robert Hoover and Edna Earl Dickey Hoover. Barbara retired from K-Mart as a cashier and was a member of Cave City Baptist Church. Survivors include her niece, Tammy Pedigo; nephew, Chris Hoover (Stephanie); sister-in-law, Faye Hoover; aunt, Kitty Mattingly; and her two cats, Callie and Kit Kat. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Dickie Hoover. The funeral service for Ms. Yates will be held 12:00 PM Tuesday, March 14th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Union #2 Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday afternoon from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Tuesday morning until time for the service at the funeral home.
