Barney Borders Tracy 81 of Glasgow died Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the T. J. Samson Community Hospital. Born in Barren Co. he was the son of the late Evans Eli Tracy and Oma Ethel Borders Tracy. Mr. Tracy was a Farmer and former employee of SKF in Glasgow. He was a member of the South Fork Baptist serving as a Deacon and was a Veteran of the World War II serving in U. S. Army. Survivors include his wife Edith Furlong Tracy of Glasgow; 3 daughters Terri Kaye Mercer (Roger), Sherry Morgan (Ricky) and Ann Houchens all of Glasgow; 3 sons Tommy Tracy (Cindy) of Glasgow, Phillip Tracy (Jackie) of Glasgow and Glenn Tracy (Sandra) of Scottsville, KY; a brother Daniel Tracy (Mary Ann) of Glasgow; a sister-in-law Nettie Furlong; 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Friday, October 26, 2007 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens with Military Honors provided by DAV Chapter #20 of Glasgow. Visitation will be after 3:00pm Thursday at the funeral home.
