Belvia Lynn Copass 57 of Glasgow died Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at her home among friends and family. Belvia graduated from Glasgow High School in 1977 and from Western Kentucky University in 1981. She was a former employee of R. R. Donnelley and Sons in Glasgow and more recently Lowes of Glasgow. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a charter member of BRAWA. Belvia loved art, music and UK Basketball and she cherished her family, especially her only nephew Nick. She had a heart of gold for those in need and will always be remembered for her exceptional witty personality. She loved her friends and classmates of 1977 and was grateful for their generosity, care and support. She is survived by her mother Mable Copass of Glasgow; brother Tony Copass and wife Sharon Caffee Copass of Glasgow and precious nephew Nicholas Copass of Glasgow. She was preceded in death by her father Elvin C. Copass; grandparents Clarence and Odie Copass and Dennis and Hazel Clemons, and her Puppy Boy. Belvia had a special love for all dogs especially her own two, Jazz and Willow. A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, October 23rd at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 am until time for the service. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of memorial contributions to BRAWA of Glasgow.
