Benita Sue Riddle 50 of Glasgow died Friday, March 23, 2012 after a sudden illness. She was born in Glasgow, the daughter of Rebecca Elmore Chase of Glasgow and Robert Goad of Louisville. Mrs. Riddle was the owner and operator of Pioneer Health Food in Glasgow and was a member of Coral Hill Baptist Church for 30 years where she was an active member of the choir and drama ministry. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband Rickie Riddle; 2 daughters Amber Moore (Matt) of Louisville and Charity Hamm of Newbern, TN; 1 son Roger Riddle of Glasgow; 2 grandchildren Jordan Simmons and Reagan Hamm; 1 brother Stephen Goad (Sue Ellen) of Colorado Springs, CO; 3 nephews Jared, Lucas and Noah Goad and a niece Amiah Goad and an aunt and uncle Billie Sue and James Gearalds of Glasgow. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 27, 2012 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Happy Valley Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be on Monday from 12:00 PM until 8:00 PM and continue Tuesday morning until time for the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Benita Riddle Memorial Fund, c/o South Central Bank in Glasgow.
