Bennie Anderson

Bennie Anderson 87 of Glasgow died Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at Diversicare of Glasgow. The Barren County native was the son of the late Bennie Floyd Anderson and Mattie Frances Thomas Anderson. Bennie was a farmer and an employee of Swift & Co. for 21 years and Dairymen Inc. for 19 years. He loved hunting and fishing and was a member of the Barren River Rod and Gun Club and also a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Ruby Mansfield Anderson; daughter Sherry Arritt and husband Brent of Glasgow; son Keith Anderson of Glasgow; 3 grandchildren Brent Anderson Arritt of Louisville, Amelia Arritt McDonald and husband Connor of Nashville and Bradley Anderson of Glasgow. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, Carson and Garnett Anderson, Hazel Earls and Jeanette Gardner. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, September 13th at A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 4pm until 8pm.
