Bernard Blessitt

Bernard 'Joe' Leon Blessitt, age 80 of Anneta, passed away Monday, February 6th 2017 at his residence. He was born February 21st 1936 in Wax, Kentucky, the son of Earl & Ruby Miller Blessitt. He was a concrete laborer for Lowes Concrete. He is survived by his wife, Anna Johnson Blessitt, five daughters, Barbara Polley, Helen Powell, Rhonda Gail Johnson, Tammy Blessitt, & Tracy Blessitt, two sons, Raymond Earl Blessitt & Eric Blessitt, two sisters, Sheila Mattingly & Christine Akins, thirteen grandchildren, and thirteen great grandchildren. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Francis Warren Blessitt, one sister, Zelma Imogene Smallwood, and two brothers, Shelby & Murrell Blessitt.
