Bernice Coop

Bernice Dodson Coop 82 of Bon Ayr, KY died Friday, June 3, 2011 at her residence. Born in Barren County, KY she was the daughter of the late Samuel Thomas & Tensline Wood Dodson and wife of the late James Richard Coop. Mrs. Coop was a member of the Westwood Church of Christ and former Owner and Operator of Coop Auto Sales in Cave City, KY. Survivors include a daughter Susan Kingrey (Allan) of Bon Ayr; 2 grandchildren Amanda Fiessinger of Smiths Grove, KY and Joshua Kingrey (Sherry) of Corbin, KY; 3 great grandchildren Justin James Robert Fiessinger and Benjamin Nicholas Fiessinger both of Smiths Grove and Gaberial Richard Taylor Kingrey of Corbin, KY; a brother Clyde Dodson of Hodgensville, KY; a sister Sylvia Logsdon of Louisville and several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son Donald Eugene Coop, a daughter Vicki Mae Coop, a brother Veachel Dodson and 4 sisters Agnus Dodson, Margaret Lane, Beatrice Coons and Juanita Sturgeon. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Monday, June 6, 2011 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Bon Ayr Cemetery. Visitation will be after 10:00am Monday at the funeral home.
