Bertha Decker

Evelyn Decker 89 of Glasgow died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Diversicare of Glasgow. Born in Barren County she was the daughter of the late Isaac and Maggie Taylor Likens and the wife of the late James W. Decker. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She is survived by 5 sons James (Betty), Larry (Cookie), Steve (Wanda), Charles (Lisa) and Danny Decker all of Glasgow; 4 daughters Carolyn Bishop, Kathy Decker Gulley and Tammy Decker Parrish all of Glasgow and Judy (George) Jackson of Indianapolis, IN; a sister Sue (Alvis) York of Glasgow; 13 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by a son Dennis Ray Decker; a grandson Richard Wayne Decker; 3 sons-in-law Joe Bishop, Michael Gulley and Larry Parrish; 5 brothers Ernest, Albert, Herbert, Lenville and Ottis Likens and 3 sisters Lucille McKenzie, Rosa Dewbrew and Stella Hiser. Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday, December 12, 2015 at the A. F. Crow & Son Funeral Home with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be after 2:00pm Friday at the funeral home.
