Bessie Louise Nance 88 of Glasgow died Sunday October 30 , 2011 at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. Born November 8, 1922 in Glasgow the daughter of the late George W. Reynolds and Laura Beaty Reynolds and the widow of the late William Elton Nance. For many years Mrs. Nance was a Volunteer with the Ladies Auxiliary at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital, she was a member of the Glasgow Baptist Church. Survivors include 1 daughter Ann N. Peper (Brian Peper )of Poolesville, Maryland; 2 sons Mitchell Nance (Ann) and David Nance both of Glasgow; 2 granddaughters Laura Peper of Jefferson Ciy, TN and Leigh Peper of Poolesville, Maryland; 2 grandsons Campbell Nance (Andrea) and Alex Nance both of Bowling Green; 1 sister-in-law Sallie Nance of Glasgow several nieces and newphews also survive. In addition to her parents and husband she is preceded in death by 3 brothers Garland Reynolds, Woods Reynolds & Joseph Reynolds and two sisters Pauline R. Berry and Virginia F. Reynolds. Funeral services will be 11:00am Thursday November 3, 2011 at the Glasgow Baptist Church with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday November 2, 2011 and from 9:00am until 10:15am on Thursday Novemnber 3, 2011at the A.F. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Alternate expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Heart Association or the Glasgow Baptist Church Memorial Scholarship Fund.
